buy bullion - free storage

    Just curious, while recently buying bullion from a major dealer I noticed they offer free storage + insurance.

    Would this not make it just as 'risky' as any etf? There is no guarantee the gold actually exists and its not as though they actually put it aside for you.

    I feel a bit safer having the thing in hand personally.
