They don't need the banks, corporate bonds and non bank lenders can keep them going to any level of scale. All they need is people willing to buy the bonds or lend to them and that only requires that they are successful enough to repay any coupon / interest rate on the money. So the banks support is totally irrelevant and if they decided to cut off zip, there are non bank processors like Cuscal ...
