It seems wrong that someone who is not subject to and a margin call should lose shares because they have been bundled in with others and sold by the entity holding them as security. Although I am not involved, I would be happy to see ANZ taught a lesson for behaving in such a dopey fashion. I also think that it demonstrates the quality of management in some of our smaller companies. How can you trust them to run a company competently if they cannot look after their own interests correctly.
