OOO, Love your posts and agree with so much of what you have said here. The one point I challenge is your suggestion to dismiss Kenya. I recognise there are political difficulties at the moment in Kenya, and also PCL needs to get its act together, but I so still reflect the fact that 18 months ago (before the Senegal drills) Kenya was being spruiked as the main FAR game and the most exciting part of FAR's portfolio.
FAR has gone through numerous periods of disappointment with Senegal, none more than when Shell "walked"...many people thought the worst and ran at the time, and yet we now see what is emerging there. Kenya is not easy atm, but it has significant potential (Tullow has made heaps from the area) and until recently was the buzz area of Africa. My great hope is that FAR continues to work on Kenya....the potential hasn't gone away, and what a wonderful area to have some diversity (we just need the Kenyan government to get real)
