I always have trouble getting my head further around this though - if the video is correct - this means a lot if you are a yank - yep, got that.

But am I correct that it doesn't mean anything (gold wise) for other countries?

Unless gold moves up or down in other currencies - only then will it impact us because of US to other currency rates (which will adjust to the US pog).

Am I correct? - what has a far bigger impact on us Aussies is if central banks begin to accumulate gold in quantity than anything to do with the yanks?
