Ruddy was shooting from the hip and had no Intel, no reasoning, no govt agency support and no knowledge of the industry. He was desperate and was trying to buy some votes.
MMS have diversified their business since those Rudd days and are a much stronger business for it. The SP of late though is a mystery to me, profitable company, pay divs, market leader, sound management, alignment with ASX heavyweights and growth.
