Well as warren buffet said be fearful when everyone is greedy and be greedy when everyone is fearful. Telstra in my opinion is the best telecommunications company in australia hands down. If you go to rural areas you will get no coverage from other companies. Any sell out will be bought back up by smart investors who look for bargains and thus the cycle begins. There will be many investors out there who will have wished they have bought this blue chip company at a low price. How long do you wanna wait? Anyways even if there is a drop u can't predict the market can and will always rebound at some point. A good example is 1pg company pattern forming then a drop below support followed up by major reversal - the obvious pattern was not so obvious at all. And who would have thought there would be a rebound? I would never call myself a guru always learning
