gentlemen, your theory has some merit. BHP it must be borne in mind, will continue to follow the Dow. the latter tending to show a support line at 10200. if you buy at $11.20, keep your fingers crossed that above-said support will hold the Dow tonite! in which case yes, an upward reversal is possible.
as to declaration of "oversold": only just, my friend, not the kind of oversold I like to see before taking a headlong plunge into. that's the whole trouble with the market recently, a reluctance to go to extremes in either direction. making life difficult for the pro trader.
