LOM has several issues; the economic situation in Angola is poor. The government is no doubt desperate to mine and sell as many diamonds as is possible. Oil was the major income for Angola but low prices have severely impacted Angola's economy.

It is possible the government to mandate that LOM direct their efforts to processing alluvial material from where they are producing a steady stream of quality saleable diamonds and the occasional high quality large diamonds. LOM spending time and money on exploration drilling may or may not be productive and in the short term governments interest.

The government will have a significant impact what happens to LOM and it's share price in coming months
