Agree TEP. The chart shows a double bottom at 42c. If it triple bottoms, we will see stellar performance. I expect a solid rerating once Mr Market realises the strategic benefit of Smithfield. This is earliest after monthly production announcement ~11 July, with a full winter month Smithfield contribution, or next production announcement ~11 August or FY ~ 22 August. Smithfield does not necessarily have to produce much to provide large scale 'firming' services to IFN windfarms and other variable producers. It is more about credibly providing certainty. Adding even a modest scale battery anywhere on the Canberra-Sydney interlink would be highly complimentary - to bridge the five minute start-up of Smithfield and guarantee IFN sells every volt it produces. Y'all think I am a battery nut, I can just see financial benefits. We will also see the newly-installed battery on Lake Bonney throwing its weight around in the monthly production announcement. BUY. I think I know what Ash wrote in his letter to Santa for Christmas. "Please Santa - can you make Arena fund IFN to get a whacking big battery on the transmission line between Sydney and Canberra and can you make the wind blow lots. Love Ash."
