Fy2020 they ran a 112% growth in revenue and higher on customer, 510 odd million revenue with 4.48% revenue per dollar. The analysts expected Afterpay to post a profit of 25 million and 400+ million revenue. They did not expect a halt and cap raise announcement.

Apt delivered below than expected results and the increased liquidity of the cap raise for the bohemith that already has hundreds of millions in the bank. Stefan and others posted that they thought the 400million for quadpay way way over priced. Yet here we are Afterpay needing to raise 1.5 billion for a 10 percent additional stake in Afterpay US. Just wow! Talk about zip getting quadpay cheap. For 400 million zip bought a company doing 2.8 billion TTV and growing a lot faster than Afterpays US operations (60% more YoY).
Afterpay delivered a 70 odd million loss, a gap of 100 million to analysts expectations and a 30 million deficit to the expected revenue earnings

Zip meanwhile, analysts expected a 25
Million loss and 160 million revenue. Zip delivered 160 million revenue and 15 million loss, a phenomenal result.
also note Zip hasade a correction to its growth numbers of ANZ region pushing them up another 5% or so.
130 % YoY growth AND Accelerating by the look of the last 6 months. Noting zip was doing 82 million fy19, 161 million fy20, and now has delivered 160 million for the half of fy2021! So from fy2019 to fy2020 91 %. Apt holders justified the massive mkt cap for apt saying apt was bigger and growing at a faster percentage than Zip.
now it's 130% YoY. I previously guessed zip would land between 128-145% YoY growth and it's looking on track for the 130%.

Zip has beaten the analysts predictions. Afterpay fell short of.

Note the 1.5 billion apt is raising is not even buying 100 percent of the US business! Quad is 100 percent owned by zip now. The same goes for Clearpay I'm the UK. There was an article out earlier in the year that seriously questioned Afterpays accounting practices after the listed company in the UK that own that other 10 % of clearpay has said 8ts worth 250 million of their account books. Afterpay claimed it value was 20 million. We are seeing things catching up to Afterpay aren't we...very shady indeed

reasoning the cost of US expansion is underestimated hence the capital raise
