I have the opposite view.
The sharing of net profits with shareholders is a good thing IMO. It shows a trend by this company to split net profits between funds for growth and shareholders and indicates they will continue this in the future when net profits increase. Ci1 is certainly not struggling for growth funds from what I have seen.
They also offer a dividend reinvestment plan so participants can save on tax and end up with more CI1 shares without effort.
Surely this is a marketing point for anyone interested in purchasing shares and puts the company at a whole new level compared to most penny stocks.
