Surely prudence isn't limited to the older generations but is also common enough in the.younger.
I have been encouraged to see so many obviously young investors getting involved with the stock market and watch their comments here on HC. A bit over the top at times but better some excitement than none at all.

This article says the uptake of BNPL is higher amongst younger adults, https://www.nra.net.au/your-guide-to-buy-now-pay-later-platforms-what-your-customers-expect/, so any BNPL debt is most likely from a millennial.

And as this Canstar article highlights, regardless of age, there is a lot of BNPL debt not being paid off in time: https://www.canstar.com.au/savings-accounts/buy-now-pay-later-debt/

Millennials quite possibly aren't worse than other generations at debt, they just have most of the BNPL debt.
