Your broker will explain that if 2 of his "clients" agree to 'buy-sell' to each other [cross-trade]then he 'carries-out their wishes.In majority of cases the trade is such that a whole line of 'bids' is taken-out.thus taking the buy side down to the next highest 'bid'.[see the first 10 trades today!]SO,,I use sanfords broker and if you do too then we could 'conive-together'to short any stock !!And the reverse I dare to opine??It's not illegal.Have a look at FMG over the last 3 months[if possible] just todays trades are litterred with them.Of course the occasional 'red-herring' is tossed in,,,,,,,,,,scanno
