Consider making a partial entry, say 20 - 30% of your initial capital ..... minimise your risk and if the SP keeps heading North, then add to the position once your % gain covers any potential downside. The return may not be so great initially but your risk is reduced considerably and you will still have the opportunity to profit.
Otherwise you will sit on the fence wondering about what might have been.
