DRE are the heaviest investment I've ever made in a listed company. A few of my main reasons were and still are,
* the BoM are major shareholders,
* every credit raise sees management empty their pockets
* they are the second largest land holders in the mineral rich Kimberley, and have the equipment and know how to not waste one single ounce of dirt in it,
* The Managing Director and his lady use their personal holidays to go digging new dirt, in the primary interests of the shareholders.
These are only a few.
There is way more to like about this company, the can management, the huge potential of each of the projects, it's entirely possible there isn't a complete dud among them. Time will tell of course, but I see DRE as the best investment decision I've made to date.
I struggle to understand how the latest sell off was so strong, given that these guys are not one trick ponies by any stretch.
I look forward to Dean's preso on Tuesday and will definitely be listening in if possible.
