The US is too big and powerful as a civilization to fail on that basis alone , paper money is just that , like a paper Tiger.
The US are also the biggest consumers for their population size , and they will not give up their standard of living for any world balancing purposes.
As far as gold , I admit to holding , my profit will come in the form of a lower AUS dollar. It is frustrating to see all the bugs cheering a higher gold price , and only a few wanting to say the opposite, as they watch AUS dollar climb.
