Thats true actually, Pattersons would be unlikely to raise capital for PDN, who do most of their stuff via Canada. MBN are going broke I suppose, some of the coal ones as holds (COK, NHC) are a supprise given coal is so big in Eastern Australia - but I suppose they are supported other brokers.
To be fair, Pattersons have been the biggest capaital raiser in the business (in the small and mid area's) - and have been in part, the reson why Australian mining companies have been so successful globally (well some have at least).
