I have received a few analyst fair values for Kogan and they are all about 20% below their current share price which has risen too far too quick this year. So I think you might be right, people are seeing value in MYD and see it under priced going forward.
In regards to your personal situation I have done that in the past with a few stocks but I bought more at a lower price, averaged down, and then did very well.
