    Closing price, YES.

Opening price, NO. 10:11 am price, (20 minutes delayed) to transaction time of 10:31

You may notice when you place a sell/buy order,

it will say ............................. for SELL orders

Queued Transactions - Your orders will be processed after market close. (16:31 Sydney time)

Similarly, BUY orders, if placed when market is CLOSED, transaction will

    take place when market opens.

Orders are 'entered at roughly 10:31 a.m. and 16:31 p.m.

Price you get is the current price/last trade at 10:11 a.m.

    and closing auction, 16:12 p.m.

In your case, if you place a "buy" order now, it will be filled at the "closing auction" price.

If you place a "buy" order at midnight, it will transact at 10:31 a.m.

the next day (morning), at the 10:11 a.m. price.

Been some winners here that see a stock "RISE" significantly,

let's say it goes up at 10:25, but they 'buy' at the pre-10:11 price.

The last "minute" may be one minute the difference.

Had a sell go through at 16:33 recently.

    # You were doing so well too.
