I agree, especially when the whole L8/Mbawa saga is taken into account. The L8 result was the FIRST OFFSHORE. I don't doubt that Apache's tap dancing has caused considerable delays, and that the Kenyan Government is trying to do it's best to dot the i's and cross the t's before they make a decision which will remain watertight, and rule out a litigious aftermath. I really want to know what happens upon L8 re-entry (if it ever happens, that is) , but the expiration as best I can see stands for the moment at the leisure of the Kenyan Govt.
That lower target on Mbawa intrigues me more than the carry on when we found the gas head, and "perspective" was immediately applied to the announcement from PCL by the minister. Maybe I'm dreaming...
I like Namibia with Tullow (as does Wasa, I am sure), but the whole L8 affair from start to now intrigues me no end....I think it will culminate positively , JIMHO of course, hopefully sooner rather than later!......
I'm over a decade in PCL.
