My guess is that the talks have begun already.....
It's hard to imagine that the two CEOs haven't thought the same thing....it would appear to benefit them both...and for TPG you could argue its almost a neccesity.
Still with so many data plans "unlimited" these days...simply offering zero data on Quickflix won't be enough to make a decent package....
I'm guessing TPG will need to bundle QFX at a slightly discounted rate, so it will be all about the margins for both players.....
Still with Fetch embarking on a TV campaign to promote their service...(and Optus/ iinet) and the launch of the Foxtel/Telstra bundle imminent, the pressure will be on TPG to come up withsomething....and there aren't too many other options!
I'd give it a couple of months....
