He's quite right footy, orders at times can be manipulated to seem there is more interest on both the buyers and/or sellers sides than there actually is. At times one can even notice orders on one side or the other suddenly disappearing seconds before opening, depending on the differing agenda's.
For myself, I find it more beneficial to keep an eye on the actual (or Course of) sales, what price they are at and whether or not they have been of any substantial value. Sometimes that may help to determine whether something is being pumped or genuine or not.
There is a lot of pitfalls for the small investor even the wary fall into them at times, I certainly can attest to falling into a pit or three at times. Bots operating on nano second time frames and algorithms make it even harder today.
Just something to think on anyway, personally I always get a headache ;). Like the enthusiasm and I hope it works out the way you want, cheers.
