Or have you forgotten the very direct theats from china icluding dropping a missile on us,targeting a p8 with a laser targeting device had it struck any crew member blindness or the chinese fighter trying to down a p8 then more threats from china following incident.
imo Australia is doing a reasonable job in all sectors navy,airforce and army.eg hypersonic missile development,space development,remote weapons in army,navy and airforce etc etc.
The french sub was a dud,it never exsited it was being designed from scratch,absolutely pathetic ,aukus brillint it provides a platform for all navy technology developments.imo
