Unlike subs i would not under estimate chinas hypersonic and connectivity technology.eg they sent a hypersonic missile around the earth twice then to show they still had control the did some clear maneuvers before crashing it into the sea. Absolutely its a well known military issue others taking control of drones. imo u must have various back up platforms.
