I never considered those small trades to be accumulation, but pushing the SP in the direction they want. They when somebody sells/buys 1000 shares, it will be a few cents higher or lower that it otherwise would have been. Moving more money to their pockets.
I expect they pay cents per transaction, not $8-20 like us.
