All I know from observing the markets is that the bigger your holdings, the more you have to plan and stage you exits.
Not everyone can get out at the top, and not every insto has a long term static buy and hold strategy on every stock. They trade in and out of their positions too.
Anyone out there with a trading platform like Paritech Pulse (or similar) would be able to tell you the net buys/sells from all the brokers (3 day delay).
I'd love to know myself who have been the major sellers over the last month or so.
