PE is simply a comparison of the price to the earnings of a business. It tells one how much earnings one gets per dollar invested.
You are misleading by bringing net assets in and implying that MUST be considered and adjusted to get the real PE - that is simply misleading and incorrect.
PE =Price / Earnings per share , and always will be. Net assets dont play a part in this forumula.
