hi longdong, I see your point and in major moves like market tops and bottoms is a good forcasting tool(when advance decline line diverges from it's index) but not for an individual stock e.g,some stocks get heaps of bad press etc, and get delisted, others , most, don't, some of those go one for years in the doldrums, others fly again./ how to pick a turning point?? safest is not to tell the market/stock what should happen.listen, instead, to it tell us what is happening--easiest way is to see that is when the chart starts moving up.If i miss the bottom 5/10% of a uptend--not a problem as long as i get the major part of it, and at that time all the sighs will be much clearer. hope u aren't asleep...lol...i went on a bit! cheers
