Did any confiscation of Gold or Silver actually happen in Australia or did this only happen in the US?
If you buy unallocated and things start looking dodgy you can take delivery of the Silver and store it in a safety deposit box in a bank.
Then you only have to worry if the bank shuts its doors to the public!
