I can't remember the details now, but about 4 or 5 years ago, if my memory serves me correctly, NGI took some actions that people were speculating were to make them more attractive to potential suitors. I can't remember what these actions were, perhaps divesting parts of the business or the like.
Does anyone think that NGI is still a potential takeover target? I'd hate to see it go at these prices, even if at a 30%+ premium.
