It is almost a dead cert the block will come up trumps. Well known and defined field that is currently producing offshore and geology extends on shore into ROCs block

I will have to go back to retrieve the facts, so take this with a grain - but I believe Chevron are producing offshore on this find, and pegged it at 500mmboe. Im not sure if this is for the whole field or just thier part. I think good chance ROC will come up with Min of 250million barrells.

The big difference here is that ROC will be assuming the risk of onshore production where Chevron have the luxury of floating production facilities. Not all beer and skittles, but still a damn fine prospect.
