I think it’s the safest of the property plays and ironically also possibly the best growth potential for the longer term. You get geographic diversification around most of the world, so quite a different play to some REITs purely in Aus and maybe NZ property.
Admittedly it’s trading at all time highs, so I can see how people may be turned away as they don’t feel like the climb north can continue.
Ill probably just summarise it by saying, there’s a reason why the SP is so high - quality assets. Some other REITs are viewed as a great opportunity because they’re ‘cheap’, but they are probably cheap for a reason.
