I was under the impression that the recent price appreciation must’ve been shorts covering but somehow they added another 2MM net short positions…we’re now up to 76MM shorts..the last 6MM shorts were added around the 4th and 5th October (when we breached the previous low of 32 and got a 2 handle for a day so they’re now at around 20% in the red…doubt their stop loses will too far away from here unless it’s a hedge on an another Goldie like Mondy suggested the other day
