It is at least as likely that they cannot buy back because they have good news, as Tri2 suggests. Given that news about Marampa was to have been forthcoming in the early part of the year, and the number of irons CFE has in the fire at any given time...not just Marampa but other significant interests.... I would not read too much into a modest decline on a slack day's trading when most of the brokers are still on holiday.
