I agree that it is unlikely that CCC will conduct a buyback given its current growth profile, however, there are two ASX listed resource companies I am aware of at the moment conducting share buybacks- ADN & MLX. ADN is an explorer whilst MLX is a producer. Both have negative retained profits but both have surplus cash on hand. From a capital management perspective both believe that the surplus cash would be best applied by buying back shares at current prices than other alternatives.ie even exploration
