The barge calls at Koolan regularly, suppling Koolan with fuel and provisions such as fresh food and water for the 350 people living and working on Koolan Island.
To the contrary, it would be a concern that could affect production if the barge's regular visits were interupted . . . such as when Peter Kerr granted use of the barge to the State Emergency Service during the mainland floods last year.
