I agree they bought for 172m at $16.00, at today's $13.50 that's a total of 146m So a loss of 26m on their investment, and seeings 162m of the buy back was debt funded it wasn't a good investment in my mind. I think they did it to make their figures look better on paper so they can show a higher earnings per share. And I think ur wrong about adding equity and debt, it takes out equity and replaces it with debt.
