using $1m of scarce cash to buyback shares might give a fleeting fillip to the SP, but using $1m to invest in an income producing well would generate higher, lasting returns.
using money for buybacks should really only be used when there is nothing better to do with excess cash.
imho, EGO just needs to "stick to the knitting".
