FOMC meeting tonight. Fed is widely expected to announce a hawkish pivot on monetary policy (accelerated taper, faster/earlier rate hikes). Market reacting as one would expect
wouldn’t be surprised to see gold spring back tomorrow and totally wrong foot everyone. The big HFs like to catch the market off guard like that. Also keep in mind, US tax loss selling season is now almost finished (US investors have been dumping underperforming gold stocks over recent weeks which has kept a life’s on GDX)
