Whilst generally correct your calculations for dewatering to not take into account inflow into the pit from subterranean sources, nor wet season water rainfall events, (although that doesn't start till late April) however I have it from good authority that they have an existing pump fleet to handle any water management issues.

In the meanwhile they also have ROM feed that they can use in the mill, whilst dewatering and restoring access to the pit floor. Commonly mines will have various benches/heights under production at the same time, so access to the pit floor may not be required to access ore higher up in the pit.

The water from the pit, and general operational dewatering, is typically used in the processing plant, with excess water stored in ponds (if its nasty) or released to the environment if its good quality. So it makes great sense to make it available to the local farmers for their crops if its good quality and surplus to requirements.
