Yep. The pre shutdown political interference and obstruction in relicensing, extensions and exploration approvals will have been a point I'm sure our team will want to ensure is sorted before reopening. It lead to the market rerate back in 2015 when it become obvious what they were doing. The new Mineral Act needs to be abided to by both sides....not a one way street here and due process is required for them not to reapprove each request.
The farcical media narrative about strictly complying to new environment requirements after they themselves gave us multiple awards for OHS and Environment is all part of this pantomime. Having an enduring tribunal award now in our back pocket should encourage more integrity in their thinking.
