If you're really prepared to take these share off desperate unit holders - even for a fee - then great.
But I am curious - what do you intend to do with them? I'm guessing you're not planning on paying millions in the next installment in April. So what can you do with them?
All I can think of is that that you'll do something like transfer them to some $2 shelf company which will fold when the debt collectors come knocking. You'll get the satisfaction of transferring potentially millions of dollars in liabilities from naive investors on to the rich bad guys at Macquarie, and pocket some cash in the process.
