    Afternoon all

    there has been much discussion lately about the sp and selling. Also much discussion about management.
    I would like to make a few commments;

    There has been solid volume traded over the last couple of months, this to me indicates basically two forces at work
    1. Retail shareholders doing what they always do 'buy high and sell low' because they are frustrated and have convinced themselves that the light at the end of the tunnel is a freight train bearing down on them at high speed. In combination with those that have bought with a view to short term gains and not seeing their particular timeframes met, choosing instead to chase other s/t opportunities. Nothing wrong with that IMO, each to their own. Some of these people have invested on borrowed money and are now feeling pressure financially as they service the interest on their position.

    2. We are seeing a changing of the guard so to speak as new investors move into the stock, ready to take it to the next level.

    For all the volume that has been sold there are always buyers there to soak up the stock. If noone believed that EXM had a solid prospect of getting their projects over the line then the selling of late would see us trading at alltime lows, ie .005c and below. However that is not the case. I personally dont give too much weight to indicators such as chaikin etc when it comes to small specs as i believe these companies run on 2 things, exploration success and corporate brinkmanship.

    EXM has a fabulous asset. 1.2m Oz gold + significant copper asset. Much of the resource is shallow and high grade. This is a serious asset and the process to take it to commercialisation is a complicated and at times slow one, however it is important IMHO that this process not be rushed in order to suit the impatience of shareholders.

    I will not sit here and tell you that EXM board is the greatest thing to ever grace the asx boards, but i will say that i believe they have made significant contributions to the advancement of EXM's project and that now as we approach the critical transition to production the board recognises that additional skills are required to make the transition successfully. And this 'revamp' of the board will be just as critical IMO as other aspects of the companies development. I agree that the use of the word iminent was perhaps an unfortunate choice of words but regardless I am confident that we will soon have these matters finalised and then the company can move forward.

    I spoke to AB recently and am satisfied with his response to my queries, let me say also that AB is not the only person that i speak to in relation to EXM, so spare me the comments about naively swallowing everything that management says. I have done my homework ! Some of you like to pontificate about motives and management etc, i contend that some of you simply have no idea what you are talking about. Go back and DYOR . Many here happy to criticise goings on and thats OK as long as comments are based on knowledge, seems to be many here that like to think they are "armchair directors" and know how to do things better

    On speaking to Alex he made comment that this transition is a very critical stage and that they are taking every effort to ensure that it is implemented proffessionally and correctly and that the timetable of developments will not be dictated by short term mentality and impatient shareholders, the company and its management have their eye firmly on the big picture.

    We will have news soon on new board appointments, drilling program, metallurgical testwork and possibly j/v developments. We can also expect an updated presentation which will include far more detail from scoping studies, this will be followed by a broker roadshow and the actual drilling of our resource to reserve status. These events will IMO provide significant impetus to the sp and bring us closer to the goal of production.

    So.... if you dont like 'the story' or you dont like management please sell up and move on...Someone will be waiting to take your stock
