You need to have a trading system which will allow you to visibly see the market 'stacking' or 'depth' of shares. Volume "MAY" determines direction, so you need know the direction when trading in order to exit or enter. I'm not sure if NAB online have live market depth, but if you DID, the answer to your question would be very evident.
