If I had stars in my eyes, I'd say it's because they're working double time to make sure OBs get & stay in the money, as was suggested further up the page.
Chances are not, though.
I try to reassure myself in the knowledge that some of the best work I know of comes out of businesses with no 'front desk' staff to respond to emails, phone calls etc... and the people doing the good work are generally lacking time or talent in customer / investor relations.
