Buy AMP 1000 @ $1 =$1000

Total cost. $2000
Av. Price $1.33
Stock drops to $0.90
Breakeven gain needed $0.43
Breakeven gain needed 50%
A downtrending stock with funny mental odour is likely to continue downtrending or at least trade sideways if it is to recover.
I never average down in a downtrending stock. I sell if it falls and buy in again if I believe it is recovering.
Or I buy elsewhere.
