A "buddy" I work with is from Vancouver. He and his fiance are planning to go back in Feb 2012.

I asked him about housing in Vancouver. He said that it was really expensive. He is of Japanese/Scottish decent. I asked him why? He said it was because there are literally streets of empty houses/condos owned by Chinese investors lying vacant as investments.
