REEFTON Mining's tenure on London's AIM has come to an inglorious end, with the listing being cancelled following unsuccessful attempts to replace its recently departed nominated advisor and broker.
"Despite making reasonable endeavours to secure the services of a replacement nominated advisor [NOMAD] and broker for the purposes of its readmission to AIM in the UK, it [Reefton Mining] has been unable to do so," the company said in a market statement.
Reefton said its UK-based certified shareholders would soon be able to trade their shares on the ASX.
Reefton chairman Brad Moore refused to return MiningNews.net's calls.
No reasons were given for the resignation last month of incumbents Grant Thornton and broker HB-corporate.
Their exits came around the time Reefton revealed it had not secured a nuclear fuels exploration licence at its Erongo project in Namibia.
Reefton said back then it would be seeking an audience with the Namibian Minister to discuss the matter.
Shares in Reefton closed off 0.1c (2.3%) at 4.2c.
