We are surrounded by Chinese.
NSE/REY/OBL all Chinese controlled and all basket cases but have Canning leases.
Sold the cattle ranch to Chinese even though the Feds canned a bigger sale.

Although I'm loathe to think he might be in discussions with them it must be a too good to refuse arrangement.
Imagine the Chinese with a foothold in all the leases in the Canning.
It has to be very tempting to them for future potential and a lot cheaper entry than offshore assets.
Very savvy these guys.
